I bought this beautiful piece in Silver to remember my first real paid trip to an out of country viking festival. The cloak pin has been the centerpiece of my attire for a few years now, it is very attractive. The pin is very strong and sturdy, it is at the moment holding 4 layers of thick Vadmal.

Unlike the original, this the piece is fitted with a "safety-pin" (lack of a better word). The pin does not poke holes in your neck or cause any sort of annoyance like some original pins might do. So if you are going for 100% historical accuracy in your attire, this cloak pin might not be for you. But if you are looking for a stunningly beautiful, well crafted and absolutely gorgeous Borre style piece of apparrel to go with your kit. This is a musthave.
