      A stylised gripping beast in the Jelling  style adorns this Viking Age find from Norway. The original was a small brooch but I have re-made it as a pendant (You can find it also as a brooch under Brooches and Pins). It is a fine example of the early Jelling style, finding its own separate identity from the more common Borre style.

       Height 31mm

      Weight in Sterling Silver 7.2g (Weight may vary from piece to piece)
