Lovers‘ Pendant

I've been with my girlfriend for about a year and yet to give a gift of jewelry. I do not give jewelry often, or take it lightly, what I care for is that which you can wear for life, that the piece has substance, has meaning.

I was researching other Viking pieces for something else entirely, when I came across Alban's "Lover's Pendant" with the inscription "we should be together". Alban's design like the rune inscription is simple, elegant, and ancient.

Is this the first piece of jewelry I want to give her?

Does this have the substance and meaning? From a photo on the internet it's always so hard to tell. I scrutinized their website, the combination of elements Alban & Rachel have pulled together mesmerized me –– I took a chance.

When I pulled the pendant and chain from it's package, I was smitten. Wise choice, risk rewarded. The pendant and animal head chain had a heft and substance, the design indeed conveyed the simple, elegant, ancient message "We should be together". I choke up a little typing that.

Artists can do that, sum up so much with so little ––substance and meaning –– Alban indeed elegantly achieved that here. Thank you.

Got this pendant as a gift from my boyfriend and I really love it! Made with incredible handcrafting skills and just perfect to that last detail. Even the runes are a little secretly hidden message and it's just beautiful.
