I have based my small pendant of the god Odin on a figure from Uppland in Sweden, wearing a horned headdress ending in ravens heads. There are many such representations found from the migration period and early Viking Age, either showing Odin himself, or else a warrior belonging to an Odin cult. Sometimes the figure has one eye, sometimes two, but always the horned headdress ending in birds' heads. Here we have the connection with Huginn and Muninn, the ravens who brought Odin news from their travels over the nine worlds. The horns remember older traditions of Odin as the horned god and leader of the Wild Hunt.

My small pendant remains true to these ancient motifs.

       Height 25mm

I was looking for a copy of the Weapon Dancer pendant found in Birka, Sweden and your pendant comes very close. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I found your Viking jewelry when I was looking for a copy of the Wolf Cross hammer found in Iceland. Your copy of that artifact exceeded my expectations. Thank you and keep up the great work!
