Viking Love Rune Ring

A ring for lovers with an ancient invocation 'Think of me, I think of you. Love me, I love you.' 

This is a translation of the original Old Norse inscription that I have carved into this silver Viking ring: 'mun.thu.mik.man.thik.un.thu.mer.an.ther.'

There are several examples of this Viking love spell found from medieval Scandinavia, two from 13th Century Bergen and one from Sweden.  Runes were used by the ancient Norse peoples as a form of writing with strong magical connections.  So these runes were more than just a love letter, they were also a sacred invocation.

The original inscriptions were carved into wood, but as runic rings were also found from the Viking Age, I have decided to carve these Viking runes into a silver ring. 

I have made this ring in three sizes. They are open at the back and are adjustable and you can bend them gently for a perfect fit.

Which size is right for you? As a rough guide: on an average hand, the small ring will fit a female index finger or a male little finger. The large ring will fit an average male index finger.

If you want to be more exact, please measure the circumference of your finger with a strip of paper, and compare your millimeter measurement with this table:

Large ring  - This ring is 10mm wide.
At its widest adjustment, this ring will fit 80mm circumference.

At a regular adjustment, this ring will fit 69mm circumference.

At its smallest adjustment, this ring will fit 62mm circumference.

Medium ring - This ring is 9mm wide.
At its widest adjustment, this ring will fit 70mm circumference.

At a regular adjustment, this ring will fit 61mm circumference.

At its smallest adjustment, this ring will fit 55mm circumference.

Small ring - This ring is 7mm wide.
At its widest adjustment, this ring will fit 60mm circumference.

At a regular adjustment, this ring will fit 53mm circumference.
